The preparation of rubber powder can not only effectively solve the pollution problem of waste tires, but also make waste rubber a renewable and reusable resource to achieve the purpose of recycling. 1. Working principle of waste tire crusher
The waste tire crusher is the core equipment in the process of preparing waste tire rubber powder at room temperature, and it is also one of the common tire crushing equipment. Its main mechanism is composed of two cylinders rotating in opposite directions. The shapes and sizes of the two rollers are generally different, and the rotation speeds are also different. There is a certain working gap between the two rollers. The size of the working gap determines the size of the rubber powder particle size. Since the rubber powder material has special properties such as high elasticity and viscoelasticity and is not easy to be compressed, the force it is subjected to during the rubber powder crushing process is complex and changeable, and it is difficult to analyze it specifically. Therefore, it is necessary to simplify the rubber powder crushing process. The waste tire rubber block is fed from the top between the two rollers. The force generated by the two rollers rotating in opposite directions brings the rubber block into the crushing area between the two rollers for crushing. The initial large-particle rubber block is crushed into small-particle rubber particles by the extrusion and shear force of the rollers. As the two rollers rotate, the small-particle rubber particles move further downward. In this process, the rubber particles are crushed again by the extrusion and shearing action. Because the roller crusher has a simple structure, reliable operation, and is economical and practical, mechanical equipment with the same working principle is still widely used in various fields.
2. The main structure of the waste tire shredder
According to the working principle of the shredder, the shredder needs a lot of auxiliary equipment and systems to complete the rubber powder shredding process. The main structures include rollers, engines, gearboxes, cooling systems, bearings and bearing seats, frames, etc. Figure 3.1 shows a simple structural diagram of the waste tire shredder.
(1) Double rollers
The double rollers are the core components of the tire shredder. They are divided into dynamic rollers and static rollers, both of which are hollow cylinders. The inside of the cylinder is generally forged with ordinary cast iron, and the surface is welded with cold hardened cast iron and other high-strength and wear-resistant materials. The static roller is fixed to the body with bolts, and the dynamic roller has bearings at both ends and is connected to the gearbox. The static surface is smooth, and the dynamic surface has helical teeth.
(2) Frame
The frame carries all the shredder components, forming an organic whole between the various shredder components. When the shredder is working, the frame can offset the internal forces between the shredder components. The material of the frame is generally cast iron or steel.
(3) Power transmission device
The power transmission device is the source of the pulverizer's working power, and consists of a motor, a gearbox, a transmission shaft, and other components. The transmission shaft is connected to the two rollers through the gearbox to drive the two rollers to rotate.
(4) Cooling system
Since the pulverizer will generate huge heat due to friction when working, the cooling system is a necessary part of the pulverizer.
